Sadly we announce the passing of our dear Partner, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.

Born in Winnipeg, MB on November, 19, 1956. 

Ben passed away on Friday, January, 12, 2018 in Toronto General Hospital while he was awaiting a liver transplant.

He was predeceased by his Grandmother Ruby Cockriell; his Mother, Gertrude Cockriell; and Sister Trudy Cockriell.  Ben leaves to mourn his Partner Vicki; his Son Daniel Cockriell; Grandchildren, Tiernan, Peyton, Lyric and Sophya;

his Brothers and Sisters, Al (Linda), Doreen (Ron), Donna (Maurice), Judy (Shaun), Bonnie (Jamie); and numerous Nieces and Nephews.  Former partners, Bernice Monkman, Darla Draper; and Step-Children, Candace and Cory.

Funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Friday January, 19, 2018 at 7pm.  A celebration of life will take place after the service at the Brooklands Hotel.

In lieu of flowers, we ask instead that a donation be made to the Salvation Army.
