JELENA (JEKA) MEDVED

October 4, 1931 – January 12, 2018

Peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018, Jelena was surrounded by her beloved and heartbroken family while she took her last breath at Seven Oaks Hospital.

Jelena was born in Batnoga, Kordun, Croatia to Vinko and Marija Kalic.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Kate; granddaughters, Melissa and Ashley; sisters, Tina, Milka and Zorka along with their families and many other relatives and friends.

Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 8:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19 at St. Nicholas Tavelich Church, 2688 Main Street at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
