It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marie on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 97.

Marie was predeceased by her brothers, Metro and John; and sister Sophie.  She is survived by her sister Joan Anger of Vancouver; daughter Marlene (Tom); granddaughter Tannis; grandson Ryan (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hadley, Rhett, Garnett; as well as, nieces and nephews.

Marie formed and maintained many friendships over the years as a very kind and caring person.

As per Marie’s request, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Marie’s life will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 12 noon.

Thank you to the caring staff at Tuxedo Villa for all their support, hard work and compassion over the years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
