DONALD BALDWIN

Obituary of DONALD KEITH BALDWIN

DONALD KEITH BALDWIN Suddenly on March 17, 2017 the world lost one of the best. Donald Keith Baldwin passed away in Warroad, MN surrounded by great friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Roberta, daughters Tracy (Jan) Bassa, Trisha (Michael) Hill, son Christopher (Tammy) Eck, grandchildren Derrick, Nicholas, Ryan, Joshua, Melissa, Ashley, Aaron, Jack and Owen, Sister Deanna (Alan) Parker, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Mae and Willard and brother Doug Baldwin. Dad was born November 15, 1943 in Winnipeg, MB. He was raised in Starbuck, moved to Winnipeg in 1959 and went to St. James Collegiate. He met mom in 1964 when they both worked at W.G. McMahon. They wed October 7, 1967. Over the years Dad had many different jobs but found his passion at Asham Curling Supplies, where he has been since 1991. Dad loved the curling world and everyone in it. Curling was his passion but definitely not his strength. Dad loved life. He loved his family, his friends and a good party. He lived every day to its fullest. We will be having a service Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:30pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Following the service we ask everyone to join us for Dads final happy hour 4-7pm at Elmwood Curling Club, 300 Brazier St. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. “Dad, our hearts are broken, life will never be the same. You will forever be our Angel. Watch over us. We love you.”
