Obituary of RICHARD BORDOLINSKI

RICHARD BORDOLINSKI November 1, 1939 – September 18, 2016 With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Bordolinski, beloved father, Dziadzius, brother and friend. He was predeceased by his wife Lucy; parents, Anastazia and Josef Bordolinski; sister Kazia; brothers-in-law, Michal and Zbigniew. Richard will be missed by his children; Vic, Mark, Margaret (Rob); grandchildren, Katie and Riley; sister-in-law Zosia Wolkowicz; nieces, Terisa (John), Krys (Kurt); nephew Zen (Trudy); as well as nieces, Anna (Bob) and Grace. Richard was born in Poland and came to Canada with his parents in 1953. He met and married our mother Lucy and raised their three children. Richard enjoyed a long career at St. Boniface Hospital, Anaesthesia Dept. for forty-nine years until his retirement in 2010. Dad liked to keep busy with his passions for photography, sports especially soccer, fishing, camping and chess. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Katie and Riley especially teaching them to play chess and pool. Dad was always happy to help others and we could always call on him when we needed a helping hand. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 11:00 a.m. Thank you to all that have helped make his final time more comfortable. A special thank you to Dr. MacMillan for his care and support over the years.
