Wade Jones

Obituary of Wade Jones

WADE JONES Suddenly on March 14, 2008, Wade Jones left this world to walk with the Creator. Wade attended the University of Manitoba in the early 1960's where he met his good friend and colleague Luther Pokrandt. Wade would return to the University of Manitoba once more in the late 1980's to graduate with a degree in Fine Arts, after living on the west coast. Wade was a brilliant artist; one of his favourite commissions was to carve totem poles in the Japanese city of Abashiri. Wade was an accomplished jewellery maker, sculptor and painter. Wade loved life and he had many friends and relatives, both two legged and four legged. Sadly the world has lost a truly talented and fascinating person. Wade is survived by his wife Deborah Manitopyes and his daughter Amanda Jones. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Wade, I've never met anyone like you. Eternally yours "till we meet again. Love Deborah.
